Thomas H. Compere, Dardanelle, Arkansas, to Governor Harris Flanagin

Compere sends his complaints to Flanagin concerning General Thomas Hindman. He believes that Hindman has created overly harsh penalties for desertion, mistreats his soldiers, and led the army in a shameful retreat from Van Buren.
