Gordon N. Peay to Captain W.C. Corcoran

Peay writes that he has given Lieutenant Lanegan an order on the ordinance for ammunition.  He says that Governor Flanagin is now visiting State Troops in Arkadelphia and that Peay believes the Governor has no plans of transferring Corcoran's company.  Peay tells Corcoran that it is impossible for the Governor to provide him with more troops but there are two cavalry commands moving to his part of the state.  Arkansas Military Board records
