     The Arkansas History Commission's newspaper collection includes over 3000 titles published at around 250 different locations in Arkansas, spanning the years from 1819 to the present. In addition to papers featuring state and local news, there are also religious, professional and special interest publications.

     These newspapers are available for use on microfilm in our research room. Please keep in mind that the Arkansas History Commission is the State Archives, and does not participate in inter-library loan. Photocopies can be requested by filling out the Photocopy Order Form with the information on the record you want, then mailing it and a check for the photocopy fee to: Arkansas History Commission, One Capitol Mall, Little Rock, Arkansas 72201. If you are unsure how many pages the photocopy order will be, please send an email to state.archives@arkansas.gov, and we will be able to give you the correct number of pages to order.

     If you would like to order microfilm rolls of newspapers from our collection, simply fill out our Microfilm Order Form and mail it and a check for payment, to: Arkansas History Commission, One Capitol Mall, Little Rock, Arkansas, 72201.
