Military Records Research Workshop
In partnership with the Arkansas History Commission, the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History will present a free workshop for all those who are interested in learning how to research your relatives who served in the military. This workshop will be useful whether you would like to know how to research a relative who fought in the Civil War or how to track down a living relative's military service records. With new technology and the internet, researching personal records has never been so easy. However, even these innovations will not help if a person does not know where to go to begin searching. This two hour workshop, conducted by Mary Dunn and Anna Pfeifler of the Arkansas History Commission staff, will educate participants on all the new ways to research military records.
