An extensive collection of military records includes Civil War service records for Arkansas Union and Confederate soldiers; Arkansas Confederate Pension records; indexes to Arkansas soldiers in the American Revolution, the War of 1812, the Indian Wars, the Mexican-American War, the Spanish-American War; and Arkansas Draft Registration and Discharge Records from World War I. The records of the Arkansas Confederate Home, which opened in 1890 and closed in 1963, are also available.
