| Transcript | No. 456 B B State Land Agent's Office B Washington, Arkansas, Oct. 20th, 1855 B Sir: B I hereby apply to purchase, at private entry, from the State of Arkansas, B The following described Tract of the First class "Swamp and Overflowed B Lands" subject to sale by the Land Agent of the Washington District, B To wit: B North West of South East ¼ B Of Section Thirty (30) – in Township Seven (7) South of the B Base Line, in Range Nineteen (19) West - - of the Fifth Principal Meridian, B Containing Forty (40) acres B For which I offer to pay Seventy five (75) B Cents per acre, in Swamp Land Scrip, according to the terms of the Act of B The General Assembly of the State of Arkansas, entitled "An Act B Amendatory of existing laws, regulating the landed interest of the State" B Approved 12th January, 1853.
